CACHET CAMPBELL, President/Founder
Cachet is a loving mother to her only child and daughter, Journey. She is also the founder of Mommy's Journey. Cachet was born and raised in Southern California, predominantly residing in Riverside County. She is a business owner of a tax advising and accounting firm and has guided numerous businesses for over 14 years. She loves showcasing the talents and abilities of others. Her clients are her friends. Her passion is helping the "underdog" obtain "privileged" knowledge and resources to meet their goals.
Cachet spends her leisure time visiting with friends and family. She loves spending time with the two loves of her life, Victor and Journey. Together, they enjoy activities such as movies, bowling, skating, exercising, traveling, learning and supporting one another, Journey activities and many other fun adventures. Her beliefs revolve around God and His purpose for a meaningful life.
TIMOTHY JONES, Ambassador
In the entertainment world, Timothy Jones is recognized as a true renaissance man. Filmmaker, Actor, Writer, and TV Host. For over 20 years, Timothy has had lead roles in a myriad of stage plays, he’s hosted his own television show for PBS (“HIDDEN HIKES”), and he’s written and produced several independent films (including “DISCOVERING DESTINY”).
Timothy’s last film release (“SWIM”) is now streaming on TUBI, and he recently wrapped production on the romantic comedy, “BIRTHDAY BOYFRIEND”, which co-stars he and Joey Lawrence and airs on The Lifetime Channel this summer. Timothy’s vision is to maximize media by creating content for the entire family. Timothy Jones is living his purpose, and inspiring others to do the same.
LISA FEHMER, Public Relations
Lisa brings a rich bundle of service and compassion to our organization. Her honest, friendly, and committed professional service builds relationships that are cemented through her communications skills and her detailed follow-through. She holds a wide range of experience as a concierge for Four Seasons and the Montage resort hotels, owner and operator of OC Concierge, a personal concierge service, proprietor of Affaire de Coeur in downtown Orange, and now Realtor/Senior Real Estate Specialist at Seven Gables Real Estate.
Lisa grew up in Costa Mesa and works throughout Orange County. Among her personal interests are walking, biking, and hiking as well as travel, dining, wine tasting, and entertaining.
GALE MATTESON, Treasurer
Gale Matteson is originally from Los Angeles, California. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they share two amazing boys. Gale has over 15 years of experience as a legal secretary, working primarily in practice groups including but not limited to, Insurance Bad Faith, Commercial Litigation, Land Use, Trial and Litigation, First Amendment, Directors and Officers Liability, Professional Liability, and Employment Practices. Gale has always possessed a passion for the legal field and, thusly, has obtained her undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminology, respectively.
Gale loves outdoor activities, such as hiking, long walks on the beach, and watching sunsets; as well as diametrically reading psychological thrillers, listening to podcasts about true crime, or watching true crime documentaries. Another of Gale’s passions is humanitarianism and uplifting her community. She has participated in helping feed the homeless through working with the Los Angeles Mission on Skid Row; participated in Skid Row Carnival of Love project, which assists the homeless find life resources for those in need to help them get on their feet. Gale has a big heart and it is for this reason that she is extremely excited to serve as a Board Member (Treasurer). Gale remembers long talks over dinner with Cachet about how she intends to make an impactful footprint in changing and improving the lives of this special community.
Gale looks forward to helping Mommy’s Journey become a well-known and recognized advanced resource center in Southern California for those with DS and those who are blessed to care for them.
DELORES PRICE, Secretary
Delores is a widow with 3 wonderful children, 2 lovely grandchildren, 1 handsome godson and a beautiful goddaughter named Journey. She was born and raised a New Yorker and has moved to several states thereafter. From losing her most precious and blessed husband over 10 years ago, the Lord has guided her through it and continues to be there for her and her family. making her a stronger woman in this process. She loves and enjoys seeing her children, grandchildren and godchildren achieving high limits. She enjoys traveling, exercising and is very active in her church. Delores is retired and needless to say throughout all her careers in life, one thing she loves is communicating with people and letting them see God's light shine through her. Delores says, one of her prayers to God is to use her in a mighty way!
MELVA HUFF, Member
Melva Huff joined our organization from her pure compassion of taking care of individuals with disabilities. She was raised in San Bernardino, CA and has been a nurse for nearly 23 years. Melva began working in convalescent skilled nursing facilities where she discovered her great passion for the geriatric community. Her dream of becoming a nurse and opening a group home for the geriatric community turned out to be a service for disabled children and adults. Melva currently works as a home health nurse. Her heart has lent her to become the custodial parent to a few of the children in her home. Melva's enormous heart for the disabled community has lead her to start her own Home Health Agency, Angels In Route.
ATTORNEY VICTOR (VIC) MARSHALL, Member
Attorney Marshall joined our organization from a personal relationship with the founder's daughter, Journey. His love for God, family, friends and fair yet impartial treatment has led him to share his compassion and joy in helping those in need outside of his legal work. Vic, as he prefers to be called, is a graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law. He dedicated his life to providing the highest quality legal services to all accused by our government. With 27 years of trial experience, he has tried over a hundred cases ranging from DUIs to special circumstance murders. He has lectured and taught on many platforms, to include Gerry Spence Method, Loma Linda University and Platt College. He was published in the Riverside County Lawyer Magazine and was profiled as an up-and-coming lawyer. He recently joined the Office of the Public Defender in Ventura County to continue honing his skill set and helping others in need. He has an array personal interests from body building to his artistic talents and lets not forget his passion as a DJ, known as Attorney Vic Mixin' Marshall.
